History

Although Optimum has had its doors open only since June 2005, the company offers the gift card industry more than 150 years of combined management experience in personalization, manufacturing, fulfillment, and the retail segments. To achieve success in this highly-detailed, no-room-for-errors industry having these key veterans was paramount to the company’s business model. Since Optimum was established to address the gift card industry’s needs, this experienced management team has made us an industry leader in the manufacturing, personalization, and distribution of the myriad varieties of gift cards.

In addition to our vast experience, Optimum has invested millions of dollars in the latest equipment, software, and development of systems to meet the diverse demands of each of our clients. Our 30,000 square foot secure facility is centrally-located to Chicago’s transportation hubs and two major airports. 

All under one roof, our services include personalization of gift cards using the latest high quality Drop-on-Demand (DOD) inkjet technology; high speed, flexible card affixing on the latest equipment available; and automated, accurate distribution and fulfillment to meet the every need of the retail gift card industry.
